FG Released Resumption Date For All University And Polytechnic In Nigeria
Different rumour and fake news has been published on different media platform concerning the date for workers in this country. As of recent, the federal government of Nigeria, has announced the resumption date for all University and Polytechnic in Nigeria.
The federal government of Nigeria has annouced May 4, 2020 (Monday) has the day all University and Polytechnic in Nigeria should start their work, which one month before now, hoping that deadly virus would have been gone before then.
If we can all remember that the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Mr Sonny Echono on behalf of the Education Minister, Adamu Adamu, directed all 104 Unity Schools in the country should close on or before the 26th of March, 2020 for a month then, as a proactive measure to prevent the spread of the pandemic Coronavirus.
Its hard decision though, but it’s one of the way to reduce the spreading or to prevent the student and staff from the virus. So in that development, students and pupils were advised to stay off unnecessary gathering for the main time.On this note, all Schools, University, polytechnic and colleges are set to resume on Monday, May 4, 2020 based on government directives.
